The Mix is sending a message to young people from EEA countries who may be affected by Brexit:
‘We are London based Youth Charity, The Mix. Whatever issue a young person is facing, The Mix is always there for them, providing help, information and support – 24/7 and 365 days a year. The Mix is free, confidential service offering essential support for under 25s through phone, text, web, social and counselling. It is driven by the participation of young people and volunteering.
The Mix is getting creative with Brexit. We understand that Brexit will be stressful for a lot of young people who are from the EEA. So, we are teaming up with a group of young people to create support online content which would be helpful for the young people Brexit will impact the most. If young people (or their parents) are from the EEA, and have a European passport, we would love to hear from them to participate in a small workshop. This is a great opportunity to meet some other young people who will be affected by Brexit, have a great time, and help thousands of other young people manage Brexit.
We are looking young people between 16 and 25 from the EEA or whose parents are from the EEA living in London to join our workshops. They will be comfortable taking part in a small creative workshop where they can share their worries about Brexit, but also ideas for what will help.’
The workshop will be based in London close to Baker Street for 3 hours between 23rd and 24th May. The Mix will acknowledge their time with a £20 Amazon Voucher and will reimburse your travel costs up to £12.
