RADA graduate company Be•wilder Theatre presents ‘Old Joe’s Fish ‘n’ Chill’. Following sell out runs at RADA and Bloomsbury Festival, Old Joe’ s returns for a strictly limited run.
In a time when borders did not exist, visitors would queue up in front of the club for its famous fish & chips and colourful dance-floor. Everyone was a foreigner and everyone felt at home. Until the incident. After surviving a terrorist attack, Old Joe’s remains the last place where people can come and go without a visa. There, an eccentric drag queen, a solitary letter thief, a decadent dictator, a fearless refugee, an officious bureaucrat and an invisible drifter meet for the first, and possibly last time.
‘Vague, dark, and unexpectedly comic. Like the Pythons, if the Pythons made a dystopian thriller’
