Chamber Music Recital with Éva Osztrosits (violin) and Mihály Berecz (piano)
Éva Osztrosits earned her master degree at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 2017, under Katalin Kokas. She has won numerous competitions including Second Prize at ‘Kovács Dénes Violin Competition 2010’, First Prize at ‘VI. Regional Chamber Music Competition’ and First Prize at ‘Leo Weiner Chamber Music Competition’ in the sonata category. She was awarded the Scholarship of the Hungarian Republic in 2016, as well as the Yamaha Scholarship.
Mihály Berecz is currently a first-year undergraduate at London’s Royal Academy of Music studying under Hamish Milne. As winner of the ‘II. Debut Berlin International Concerto Competition 2017’, Mihály made his debut at the Philarmonie, Berlin in June 2017 with the German National Orchestra. He also won first prize at Second Manhattan International Music Competition in 2017 August. He has worked as a soloist with distinguished conductors including András Keller, Zoltán Kocsis and Tamás Vásáry.
